NEW ON-BOARDING PROGRAM BRINGS TOP TALENT TO CROP
PRODUCTION SERVICES’ CORN BELT EAST
How do you
find the best young agriculture talent that is coming out of local universities?
That is exactly the question Brad Rivers, regional manager, was asking farm
center managers, crop consultants, and division staff two years ago. Fast
forward to today, and Crop Production Services’ Corn Belt East Region has a
first class on-boarding program for new graduates wanting to become crop
consultants. On-boarding trainees experience a rigorous, three month sales
training program that incorporates agronomy, sales skills, product knowledge,
customer interaction, and working at various retail centers, before they are
given a sales territory. These new crop consultants are fully trained and ready
to provide complete customer service when it is time for them to work with our

MEET THE CORN BELT EAST MANAGEMENT TEAM
Our
service area ranges from the northern tip of Michigan down through Ohio,
Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The Corn Belt East region is managed by
Brad Rivers and is made up of 8
divisions: Michigan managed by Keith Paige, Northern Ohio managed
by Don Steinbauer, Southern Ohio managed by Steve Emery, Northern
Indiana managed by Jake Underwood, Southeast Indiana managed by Danny
Carmony, Southwest Indiana/Northern Kentucky managed by Mark Roeder,
Eastern Kentucky managed by John Gillum and Tennessee/Western Kentucky
managed by Ed Staser.
